In December 2021, just before Christmas and before Omicron shut down international travel, I flew to Nice in France, to deliver a keynote presentation.
My son joined me, and after the lecture we stayed in France for a Bar Mitzvah vacation.
We decided that the trip’s theme would be food and gastronomy, focusing on sweets and patisseries.
We tasted more than 30 deserts and selected our top 5 (full list below).
